Amazon Sent The Wrong Coat, Made Me Buy The Correct One For €20 More
I bought a Columbia coat in size Medium from Amazon.com.tr. (Order no:406-2187403-6549918) The coat was sent from Amazon Germany. When I received the product, I saw that although it said Medium on the outer paper label, it said size XXL on the inner label. The product was already huge. I wanted to start the change process immediately. However, the customer representative told me that I should return the product and order again without waiting for the return to arrive, because there was only one Medium size coat left in stock. However, in the meantime, the price of the coat had increased by €20. When I asked what they would do about this €30 inconvenience that was not caused by me, he said that they would help me with the difference after the refund was made. This conversation took place over the phone and I'm sure it's being recorded. I was made to buy the product in a hurry at the most expensive price. When I called customer service after my return, they said that they could not help me with the difference in any way because the product was sent from Amazon Germany, and that I could return the product if I wanted. I don't see any good intentions here. I am a victim of inadequate customer service and an attitude that does not suit a customer-oriented company like Amazon.
