I booked a 3-bedroom apartment at Galataport through Airbnb (confirmation code HMHSC5BFTZ) for February 23-24. Unfortunately, due to severe weather conditions, our flight from Trabzon was canceled, making it impossible for us to travel to Istanbul and check in.
Despite the circumstances, the host refused to issue a refund, leaving us with no option but to escalate the issue. Airbnb’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy clearly states that unforeseen natural events affecting travel should qualify for refunds.
I request Airbnb to intervene immediately and process my full refund as per their policy. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? I need this resolved as soon as possible!
