On July 23, 2025, I canceled my Airbnb reservation in Bakırköy, Istanbul (code: HMSXE58DXM). The booking was fully paid in advance with my Garanti Bank card for a total of ₺5,964. Since my cancellation met Airbnb’s standard refund policy, I was assured there would be no issues and that the payment would be returned promptly.
However, 17 days have passed, and the refund has still not been processed. My bank account shows no returned funds, and I have not received any official confirmation or documentation regarding the refund. I have contacted Airbnb’s live support multiple times during this period, but each time I was met with vague responses and no concrete timeline for resolution.
This is the first time I have experienced such an issue with Airbnb, and I feel I have been left without proper support. I demand that my refund of ₺5,964 be processed and deposited into my account immediately. If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue my legal rights.
