While traveling from Budva (Montenegro) to Sarajevo, I looked for a one-night stay near Pljevlja center to rest before my flight the next day. I booked a home listed on Airbnb as being just 3 km from Pljevlja city center. However, after the reservation was confirmed, I realized the house was actually located 4 km from the center of Palež, which is over 40 km off my intended route.
Given the tight schedule and my need to catch a flight, I canceled the reservation immediately to avoid delays. I contacted the host, explained the situation, and they agreed to issue a full refund. Despite this, Airbnb has not refunded me, and now they’re not replying to my messages through the platform.
The listing was clearly misleading in terms of its location, and I acted quickly based on inaccurate information. The host approved the refund—yet Airbnb continues to withhold my money and provides no response.
I’m requesting that Airbnb immediately honor the refund agreement approved by the host and correct the listing’s location information to avoid misleading future guests. Please process the refund without further delay and address the platform’s failure to respond to valid claims.
