I booked an Airbnb in Kolasin, Montenegro, for December 31, 2024, to January 3, 2025, expecting a smooth holiday experience. However, on the day of check-in, the host was completely unresponsive. Despite calling for hours, we received no answer. It was New Year’s Eve, and my family, including children, was left stranded on the streets.
After several attempts to contact the host, we reached out to Airbnb support, but only received automated responses. The provided support number didn’t work either. We never gained access to the house and had to book a hotel at the last minute, ruining our New Year celebrations.
I am requesting a full refund for reservation HMQKMM9ZRM as no service was provided. Airbnb must take responsibility for this failure, improve their support system, and ensure such situations don’t happen again.
