On June 19, 2025, I booked a property in Montenegro through Airbnb. The next day, on June 20, I canceled the reservation, and Airbnb informed me that my refund would be processed within 15 days. However, it has now been over 27–28 days, and the money has still not been credited to my account.
I contacted Airbnb support, and all they keep saying is that “the money has been sent to your bank” — but my bank confirms that no such transfer has been made. There is no transaction record, and Airbnb has provided no proof of payment.
This is unacceptable. I followed the proper cancellation policy, waited patiently, and yet I am being given the runaround with no resolution and no refund.
I demand that Airbnb immediately investigate this issue, provide a clear explanation and transaction reference, and refund the ₺ amount owed to me without further delay. Customers should not have to chase down their own money after a valid cancellation. Airbnb needs to step up and resolve this.
