Agoda Booking Listed Fees Incorrectly and Hotel Charged Hundreds More

I made a reservation through Agoda for a double queen room at Hyatt House San Juan for August 23, 2025. On my Agoda confirmation, the total was shown as 1,806.13 plus 265.12 in fees, and I planned and budgeted my trip based on these amounts. However, when I arrived at the hotel and went to check in, I was told that the fees would be about 600 dollars, which is more than double what was stated on my booking. When I questioned this, the hotel staff said that Agoda is a third-party company and that they do not control what Agoda shows, but that at the hotel it is nearly 60 dollars a day in fees. This is completely different from what was clearly written in my reservation. I tried to contact Agoda customer service to resolve this, but the phone number provided was not working, so I could not reach anyone for help. My Agoda booking number is 902695470. I am requesting that I be charged only the 265.12 in fees that were shown on my original Agoda booking, and that the difference between this amount and the approximately 600 dollars in fees demanded at check-in be canceled or refunded. I am also requesting that someone from Agoda or Hyatt call me directly and additionally send me a text message to clearly explain the charges and confirm how this issue will be resolved.
