Agoda Charged Twice for Unwanted Hotel Room!
I accidentally made two duplicate reservations for the same hotel room on April 2, 2024, due to an outdated email address on my Agoda mobile app. Before I could correct the mistake, Agoda charged my credit card twice for the two bookings, even though they were both unconfirmed. I contacted the hotel and they told me that I need to resolve the issue with Agoda.
I am very disappointed with Agoda's customer service. I have been trying to get a refund for the unwanted reservation for over a week, but they have been refusing to give me one. They keep telling me that the hotel needs to cancel the reservation, but the hotel has already told me that Agoda needs to cancel it.
I am now stuck with two unwanted reservations and I am worried about losing my money.
