Agoda Canceled Booking But Refund Not Issued To Me
I made a hotel reservation through Agoda.com for Hotel Yoegieottae Gwangju Station in Gwangju. On 25 November 2025, Agoda cancelled my booking, but despite this cancellation they have not refunded the amount I paid, which is 25.16 CHF. I have contacted Agoda customer service many times about this issue. Each time, they insist that I did not show up at the hotel and therefore they refuse to refund my money, even though the booking was cancelled via Agoda. I find it unacceptable that I am being treated as a “no-show” and left without any refund after a cancellation initiated on their side. I request that Agoda immediately refunds the full amount of 25.16 CHF that was charged for this cancelled reservation and provides a clear written explanation of why my booking was cancelled and why my complaint was repeatedly rejected.
