On 04.04.2025, I bought a pair of Adidas Outdoor Terrex AX4 sneakers from the Boyner store inside Adana Optimum Shopping Mall. I paid ₺6000 for these shoes, trusting the Adidas brand and the store’s claim of a 2-year warranty. I used them with extreme care — never for sports, never in water, and I didn’t even wear them daily. I only cleaned them gently with a soft cloth.
Yet before even reaching the five-month mark, the inner back heel area of the right shoe tore and began to deform. On 15.07.2025, I returned them to the store. Boyner agreed to send the shoes in for inspection, but unfortunately, Adidas rejected the warranty claim, blaming "user error" without offering a satisfying explanation.
If this were really caused by misuse, there would be visible damage on both shoes or the outer surface. But the defect is isolated to a specific, unusual spot. I received no care instructions at the time of purchase, nor was I informed of any limitations in use. Claiming the shoe was misused is not only unfair — it’s unproven.
For a global brand like Adidas and a major retailer like Boyner to deny responsibility for a defective shoe that cost ₺6000 and failed in under 5 months is unacceptable. I request a full refund or a product replacement. I expect both Adidas and Boyner to honor the warranty, show transparency, and resolve my complaint fairly. I will be attaching photos as evidence.
