Adidas Runfalcon 5 Defective Material Issue - Denied As User Error

On June 23, 2025, I purchased a pair of Adidas Runfalcon 5 CBLACK/FTWWHT/CBLACK shoes for around ₺4000. After wearing them for less than three months, I experienced a serious issue where the plastic part around the lace holes began cutting through the fabric. I used the shoes every other day for walks, following all usage instructions carefully, and did nothing wrong. I had encountered a similar issue with two previous Adidas shoes but didn’t apply for warranty at the time. This time, I submitted the shoes for warranty service on September 30, with the warranty tracking number t25563964. Shortly after, I received an SMS stating that the issue was due to “user error” and that no refund or replacement would be made. However, it is absolutely not user error—I used the shoes properly. I wasn’t given a physical invoice, but all transactions were recorded under my phone number in the store’s system. Having to buy new shoes every two months for ₺3,000–₺4,000 is financially straining, and I refuse to accept Adidas dismissing this as user error. Before filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, I request that Adidas resolve my issue by either replacing my shoes or refunding me.
