Adidas Rejected My Exchange for Kids Shoes Torn After Three Months
In March 2025, I purchased a pair of children’s sports shoes for my son from the Adidas store in İzmir Westpark, paying ₺1500 by credit card. After only three months of use, the shoes tore at the toes in July 2025. I returned the product to the store with tracking number T25543050, requesting an exchange, but my request was rejected on the grounds of “user error.” I absolutely do not accept this decision; the shoes were worn normally like anyone else would, and we did not even have the chance to wash them. It makes no sense to consider a shoe that tears in three months as user error. Moreover, while other children’s sports shoes on the market cost around ₺700–₺800, I paid ₺1500 to Adidas expecting better quality, but I was left deeply disappointed. Even though the product is under warranty, I request that this grievance be resolved and the shoes be replaced.
