Academia Premium Unauthorized ₺3000 Charge And Refund Request
On August 19, 2025, my account was charged ₺3,000 by the education site Academia for a Premium membership that I never approved. I did not receive any prior notification, confirmation request, or approval message regarding this payment. I only discovered the charge when I checked my Kuveyt Türk account.
I immediately sent an email to the site to report the issue, but I have not received any reply to this day. This kind of practice is unethical and unacceptable, as customers should never be charged for services without explicit consent.
I am demanding that my Premium membership be canceled immediately and that the ₺3,000 taken from my account be refunded in full. Academia must take responsibility, stop unauthorized charges, and provide proper customer service support to resolve such issues promptly.
