Yapi Kredi Bank Charged an Unauthorized Credit Card Fee

On September 3, 2023, my Yapi Kredi World credit card with the number 492130******7359 was charged 404 TL as an annual card fee. However, I was never informed of this fee when I received the card. In this regard, I would like to point out that, according to the Consumer Law of May 28, 2014, Article 31, paragraph 3: "Issuing organizations must offer a credit card type that does not charge consumers under any name, such as an annual membership fee." Furthermore, under Law No. 4822 amending Law No. 4077 on Consumer Protection, Article 6 titled "Unfair Terms in Contracts," your bank's membership fee is unjust because it is not in exchange for any service. According to Supreme Court Decision HGK 2010/1-93-88 and the final ruling of the 13th Legal Chamber in case number 2011/4736 and final decision number 2011/11579, the annual card fee must be refunded retroactively. As a result, I demand that the fee I paid be canceled, that no further charges be assessed against my account, and that a refund be issued to me. I'd like to let you know that I'll be filing complaints with relevant authorities such as the Banking Association and the Consumer Arbitration Board®. I request that your institution resolve this matter as soon as possible.
