Wizz Air Refuses to Refund Membership Fee After Cancelled London–Tel Aviv Flight
On 2 February 2026, I purchased a Wizz Air flight from London to Tel Aviv, scheduled for 11 March 2026. During the same transaction, a Wizz membership fee was also charged. The flight was later cancelled by Wizz Air due to the Middle East conflict, and as a result, the membership is effectively unusable for the foreseeable future on this route. Despite this, Wizz Air is refusing to refund the membership fee that was taken as part of this booking. I have contacted Wizz Air customer service three times about this issue, and on each occasion, I was told that the membership fee is non‑refundable. I find it unfair that the flight was cancelled due to circumstances on the airline’s side, yet the membership fee, which was charged within the same booking and cannot reasonably be used in the current situation, is not being refunded. I request a full refund of all fees charged in connection with this cancelled flight, including the Wizz membership fee that was taken in the same transaction as the ticket, and written confirmation once this has been processed.
