I Got Charged for Wizz Air Check-in and Lost Money Due to Unauthorized Flight Change

Dear Wizz Air,

I’m writing regarding serious issues with my recent and upcoming flights under reservation reference MNWV7N. Your company’s actions have resulted in both unexpected charges and major disruptions to my travel plans.

1. Forced Airport Check-In Due to System Error (₺ Equivalent of £42.50):
For my June 24, 2025 flight from London Gatwick (LGW) to Istanbul (IST), I was unable to check in online due to a system failure on your end. I asked for help at the airport, but your staff member (identified as I***) couldn’t resolve the problem. As a result, I was forced to pay a ₺ airport check-in fee. I was told I could request a refund later, which I am now doing—this fee was completely unjust.

2. Unauthorized Change to My Return Flight:
On June 18, 2025, I received an email stating that my return flight from Istanbul to London had been rescheduled. Originally booked for July 14 in the morning, it was moved to 10:50 PM the same day, arriving at 12:55 AM on July 15—which seriously disrupts my professional obligations. I had already purchased a non-refundable train ticket for my original arrival time (worth £43), and now I’ve had to purchase a new one-way train ticket for £130 due to the change.

I’ve attached the rebooking notification showing this unauthorized change. Given these circumstances, I request full compensation for both the unjust airport check-in fee and the additional costs caused by your rescheduling—expenses that I had no say in and could not avoid.

Please treat this issue with the urgency it deserves. I expect a prompt resolution and reimbursement.
