Wizz Air and their so-called "Discount Club" gave me a horrible experience. I was advised I would get a refund or compensation for the ticket itself when my flight was cancelled, but they flatly refused to refund the Discount Club membership cost, even though I couldn't utilise it given their cancellation. I hadn't even taken advantage of the membership perks, hence it felt unjust to be paid for something I didn't have opportunity to enjoy. Their poor and indifferent customer service added to the aggravation of the whole procedure. From an airline that promotes reasonably priced and handy travel, I anticipated better. This encounter has caused me to rethink always booking with Wizz Air.
