Wizz Air Membership Fee Not Refunded After Cancelled Flight
I purchased a Wizz Air flight from London to Tel Aviv on 2 February 2026, during which a Wizz membership fee was also charged in the same transaction. The flight scheduled for 11 March 2026 was later cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. Although the flight was cancelled by the airline, Wizz Air is refusing to refund the membership fee that was taken as part of this purchase, even though the membership remains unusable for the foreseeable future due to the ongoing conflict on this route. I have contacted Wizz Air customer service three times regarding this issue and each time I was told that the membership fee is non‑refundable. I find it unfair that the flight was cancelled due to circumstances on the airline’s side, yet the membership fee charged within the same booking is not being refunded. I request a full refund of all fees charged in connection with this cancelled flight, including the membership fee that was taken in the same transaction as the ticket.
