I Face Windshield Visibility Issue in My 2024 Volvo XC60 T8 That Affects Night Driving
I received my Volvo XC60 T8 (license plate 34 PGU 61) in May 2024. Since the first day, there has been a visible mark or streak about 20–30 cm long on the front windshield that seriously obstructs my line of sight. This issue isn’t visible in daylight, but it becomes very noticeable during rainy weather and night driving, creating a serious safety hazard.
I first reported the problem to the authorized Volvo service center in Trabzon. They claimed the issue was caused by the wipers, replaced them, and charged me approximately ₺2,000–₺3,000. However, while driving back to Istanbul, I realized the problem still persisted. I then took the car to Otokoç İstinye for maintenance and reported the same issue there, but my car was returned without any action taken.
My vehicle is still under warranty, and there has been no external interference with the windshield (such as film application or chemicals). Since this issue severely impacts my visibility in rainy and nighttime conditions, I request an urgent and permanent solution. Experiencing such a problem with a brand like Volvo has been very disappointing, and I expect my complaint to be resolved promptly.
