New Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 Steering Noise and Charging Port Issues Unresolved
In December 2023, I purchased a Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 from Volvo Otokoç İstinye. From the first weeks, there was a spring-like clicking noise when turning the steering wheel. The initial service visit identified it as a spring issue, replaced under warranty. Soon after, the electric charging port cover jammed, requiring another service visit. They found a broken part inside, which I requested to be replaced under warranty.
When I returned for the replacement, I was unexpectedly charged ₺2,800. After leaving, I noticed the steering noise had returned. I contacted Volvo Turkey, emphasizing that this noise wasn't present after the first warranty replacement.
During another service visit, they reported the issue to Volvo and later suggested insulation, claiming the noise was normal. Unsatisfied, I paid ₺11,710 for a steering spring replacement myself. However, the noise persisted and even worsened after this replacement.
Throughout this process, my concerns have not been adequately addressed by Volvo. I'm urgently awaiting a response from Volvo to resolve these ongoing issues with my new vehicle.
Since I have not received any results, our problem persists. I do not understand why it is being directed as if it has been resolved. I will not close the issue as long as my complaint is not resolved.
