VFS Global Took Money for a Visa Appointment I Never Received
My 72-year-old mother-in-law, who made a VIP service appointment for a VFS Netherlands visa from the Mainland VFS office with the reference number NLTR111089009807, was not processed despite going to her appointment on time. The relevant personnel stated that the reason for not performing the transactions was that the Family Visit Visa was not selected instead of the Short-Term Visa request. This option could not be selected during the online application phase of VFS company because it was not active and opened on Android. The relevant personnel also informed my mother-in-law that a refund would be made by VFS regarding the situation and that same-day reservations were available and that she should make another appointment, and sent her away without providing service. An application for a refund was made from the e-mail address provided by the relevant personnel for a refund on the same day. No refund of the application fee or VIP service fee was made by VFS Global for a service that was not received due to the appointment cancellation. As can be understood from other complaints, VFS Global does not recognize the laws and regulations of the Republic of Turkey and illegally seizes the service fees of its customers, and also does not comply with the decisions of the Consumer Arbitration Board. We declare that all the fees seized by the company for the service that a 72-year-old person living on a retirement salary did not receive should be returned to us, otherwise we will use all our legal rights.
