My Visa Rejected Due To VFS Global Category Issue

On 10/12/2025 at 14:15 I had a visa appointment through VFS Global Gaziantep for the Netherlands Consulate, booked under the category “Short Term Other”. When I was making the appointment, there was no clear explanation in the system that this category was intended only for married or retired applicants or for a specific purpose. On the day of my appointment, they told me that this category was for such situations and that in my case I should have chosen “Family Visit”, but such a category was not visible or at least not clearly explained when I booked the appointment. Because of this, my application was completely rejected at the appointment entrance and I was turned away without being given any receipt, document or official explanation. If I made a mistake, I should have been given a written document stating the reason, but I was sent away with nothing, so at the moment I have no proof in my hand, even though I believe I am rightfully aggrieved. In addition, I was told that the documents I prepared are only valid for one week, which increases my stress and time pressure. During this process, the attitude of the staff there was also very upsetting. Their way of explaining the situation was neither clear nor helpful, and even when I asked them at least to check my other documents, they refused to look at them and only repeated that there should be documents such as residence registration. This made me feel that my efforts and documents were not taken seriously, and it worries me that I might face similar problems again in my next appointment regarding these documents. Due to the lack of clear explanations in the VFS Global appointment system and the fact that I was rejected without any official document, I have suffered a serious grievance. I request that my situation be reviewed, that I be given the earliest possible new appointment under the correct category without paying any extra fee, and that my application be accepted using my current documents, since they are valid for only a short time.
