VFS Global Failed To Provide Passport Collection Hours Causing Travel Loss
I applied for a Lithuania visa through VFS Global center. In the e‑mail sent to me regarding the result of my visa application, it was only stated that I could collect my passport from VFS, but there was no information whatsoever about the passport collection hours. Due to this lack of information, I went to the VFS center and only there I was told that passport delivery is made only between 13:00 and 16:00. This situation caused loss of time, unnecessary travel expenses and an overall grievance for me. It is unacceptable that citizens are directed with such incomplete information in a process that has the nature of a public service. The fact that a global service provider like VFS Global does not clearly state the passport delivery hours, unnecessarily exhausts applicants and fails to provide predictability in service quality constitutes a service failure in my opinion. I request that passport collection hours be clearly indicated in the information e‑mails, and that the necessary arrangements be made so that this grievance is not repeated, and I also expect an apology for the inconvenience I have experienced.
