On September 19, 2025, I booked an appointment for a Bulgarian tourist visa at the VFS Global Ankara application center. Since there was no availability in my region, I scheduled in Ankara and paid a total of ₺3,792.61 including extra service fees. My payment transaction number is 25262mead0501**63 and my application reference number is xyz69696019749.

However, after payment, I was informed that due to my official residence being in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, I am not allowed to apply in Ankara. During the booking process, no warning or notice appeared to indicate that my residence address restricted me from using the Ankara center. If this requirement had been clearly displayed, I would not have paid or booked there.

For comparison, other visa service providers such as Kosmos (for Greek visas) explicitly state residency restrictions up front. The absence of such information on VFS Global’s system directly caused my financial loss and inconvenience.

I immediately contacted VFS Global customer service by phone, but was told that cancellation and refund are not possible. I also followed up with an email request, but have not received any reply.

This is a system failure on VFS Global’s part—I paid for a service I could not use due to information that was not disclosed before payment. I am requesting a full refund of ₺3,792.61 and for VFS Global to correct its booking platform so that other applicants are not misled in the same way.
