I purchased a Vans Brooklyn LS model pair of shoes through the In Street mobile app. However, just three days after purchase, the inner lining of the shoe started to detach from the fabric. The same issue appeared on the other shoe on the sixth day, and it is still continuing.
There was no excessive use or user-related damage involved. If it had been user error, there would have been tears or deformation in the lining. However, as can clearly be seen, this is a manufacturing defect caused by poor adhesive application.
Despite submitting a warranty inspection request, I was informed that the claim was rejected due to “user error.” This decision violates both the Consumer Protection Law and the conditions of the product warranty.
My invoice number is fea2025002751193.
I am requesting that my product be re-examined under warranty, that a refund or replacement be issued, and that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
