I purchased EA FC 25 through Steam, and while it worked briefly at first, the game eventually became completely unplayable—it won’t even launch anymore.
I contacted Steam, and they redirected me to EA Support. After going through countless troubleshooting steps with EA—none of which worked—they finally told me the product was faulty and that I should request a refund.
However, when I submitted the refund request to Steam, it was denied because I had played the game for over 2 hours. This makes absolutely no sense. The game is broken, and I’m being punished for trying to fix it instead of immediately asking for my money back.
So now I’m stuck with a non-functional game and no refund, despite doing everything by the book. I paid ₺1000+ and ended up with nothing but frustration. Steam and Valve’s rigid policy ignores real technical issues and blatantly disregards customer rights.
I will be filing formal complaints with every consumer protection agency in Turkey. What Steam is doing amounts to deception and neglect. Selling a game that doesn’t work and refusing to refund it is unacceptable.
I demand my money back. Steam must stop hiding behind automated refund rules and start treating players like actual customers.
