I Face No Refund After Uption Rejects €3,700 Euro Transfer From VakıfBank
On 12/08/2025, I transferred €3,700 from my VakıfBank account to my euro account in Aktif Bank’s Uption app. The reference number for this transaction on VakıfBank’s side is S003984025566425. VakıfBank successfully sent the money, but the transaction was rejected by Uption. Even though this was a domestic transfer within Turkey to my own Euro account, I cannot understand the reason for the rejection. Despite Uption rejecting the transaction, the €3,700 deducted from my VakıfBank account has not been returned to me. Since that date, I have repeatedly called Uption customer service, but I have been unable to reach a live representative. For the past four days, I have continuously called and only heard recorded messages, with no response or callback provided. When I spoke with a VakıfBank customer representative, I was told that there is no refund recorded in my account and that the funds may still be waiting in Uption’s pool. I am experiencing serious hardship due to this situation. Including deductions, the total amount comes to €3,742.53. I urgently request that this issue be investigated, that the rejected transfer amount of €3,700, including deductions, be immediately refunded to my VakıfBank account, and that I be provided with a clear explanation in writing or by phone.
