On August 28, 2025, my Twitch account under the username “Seanhera” was wrongfully banned for allegedly being a “bot or automated account.” I’ve had this account for years, and I have never used any bot, automation, or third-party manipulation tools. In fact, I hadn’t been very active on Twitch recently, and my account certainly isn’t new or suspicious.
I firmly believe this ban was a mistake. I reached out to Twitch Support immediately after receiving the ban notice and explained the situation in detail. However, I haven’t received any response or assistance since then. My account has no active subscriptions or payments, so there’s no reason for this restriction to continue.
