Turkish Airlines Tried to Sell Me a Business Ticket Even Though Economy Class Tickets Are Available

On April 10th, I purchased a one-way ticket with the reservation code TSG7D7 for my spouse from the Turkish Airlines website for the Antalya-Istanbul flight on May 27th at 16:30. While selecting seats, half of the plane was empty. Shortly after, when I tried to purchase a round-trip ticket for the same flight for myself, I noticed that economy class seats were shown as fully booked and I was directed to business class seats. When I called customer service, they told me that I had bought the last economy class ticket, which was not true. I immediately canceled the ticket and purchased two economy class seats for the same flight with the reservation code wdssfp. Apparently, there were seats available. I bought the return ticket separately and did not encounter any issues. I believe the company has a system that constantly monitors customers and directs them to buy more expensive tickets. I have reported this situation to CIMER and the Ministry of Trade and am pursuing legal action. I will follow up on this matter. For your information.
