Turkish Airlines Travel Agency Unjust Charge
I purchased tickets from the THY website and needed to cancel them due to a family health issue. While searching online, I came across a site that I thought was THY (I later learned there was no penalty for my tickets). Despite asking if they were THY customer service, they spoke as if they were and claimed there was a ₺2,600 penalty, directing me to make a credit card payment. They unjustly took money from my card.
When I called the agency, they tried to justify themselves, saying I did it willingly and that they have voice recordings, suggesting I could complain anywhere I wanted. They are trying to appear right by taking advantage of people's distractions and misleading them. It's easy to say I made the payment willingly. Why did you say yes when I asked if you were THY? We trust THY and give our credit card information to whom?
I demand a refund of the unjust money taken from me. I have submitted my complaint to THY customer service. Do not take advantage of people's distractions! I want a refund of the money you took from me by lying.
