Turkish Airlines Ticket Issue and Flight Availability Problem
THY is doing everything it can to inconvenience its own citizens. Due to my uncle's passing, I couldn't find a ticket. I called THY and, after much pleading, managed to get a ticket for the Istanbul-Van flight on August 22, 2023. I had to buy the ticket for ₺2,520. Now, I am stuck in Van and on the verge of losing my job. I have been waiting for days to find a seat to return. We don't understand why flights from Van have been reduced and given to Trabzon and other places. This is nothing but punishment for the people. There are no seats available from Van to Istanbul on August 31, but when I checked Van to Izmir, seats open up on the same flight, and business class tickets for ₺8,000 with an Istanbul layover are available. How can such a system exist? Normally, there are no seats available, and I am not given the ticket I am entitled to, but when I enter Izmir, the same flight on the same day and time appears especially for Istanbul at ₺8,000. I am about to lose my job. I do not forgive this. I am on the verge of losing my job and urgently request a solution. I have set aside my grief for my uncle; I am about to lose my job.
