I Was Unable to Use My On Hold Ticket
I paid for a ticket with Turkish Airlines that I haven't used, and the date hasn't even come yet, but I am not allowed to use it. On January 31, while I was in Germany, I received news of my nephew's passing in Turkey and needed to urgently fly back for the funeral. As a result, I purchased a high-priced ticket from Turkish Airlines. Since I didn't use the outbound portion of my previously purchased round-trip ticket for February 14 Bremen-Istanbul and April 8 Istanbul-Bremen, my ticket was put on hold. After the funeral, I realized I wouldn't be able to use my return flight on April 8 from Istanbul to Bremen. I uploaded the high-priced ticket details and the funeral certificate from the prosecutor's office to Turkish Airlines' system. However, I usually received a response like 'we can't help due to our policies.' Despite calling multiple times, I couldn't resolve the issue. In short, Turkish Airlines, a world-renowned airline, sells you a ticket but doesn't let you use it. Although the date of April 8 hasn't come yet and I have a ticket, my ticket was put on hold without my request, and I can't use my flight rights. The relevant ticket numbers are as follows: The Germany-Turkey ticket number I bought for the emergency is 2352216341578, the same as the funeral on January 31. The previously purchased Germany round-trip ticket number is 2352213476046. Additionally, the relevant funeral certificate documents are attached.
It did not make any turn...
