Turkish Airlines Flight Ticket Refund Issue During Pandemic
We faced significant inconvenience due to the cancellation of our two international flight tickets purchased from THY for the summer of 2020, which were canceled due to the pandemic, and no refund was issued. Despite the prolonged effects of the pandemic, we were insisted upon using the tickets within a year, which is against human rights. Although we wanted to use them, no refund was provided. After extensive correspondence, we were informed that the ticket validity had expired, leaving us without any options or refunds. We are highly inconvenienced. The ticket, which cost ₺3,000 in 2020, has an unknown current value. The financial loss is substantial for salaried employees like us. Despite raising every possible concern for customer satisfaction, we only received standard responses and were not taken seriously. Thank you, THY, for our inconvenience. We will never forget this.
