Hello, on September 21, 2023, I purchased a connecting flight from Sivas to Istanbul (departure at 10:50, arrival at 12:25) and then from Istanbul to Izmir (departure at 14:00, arrival at 15:10). The Sivas to Istanbul flight was delayed and rescheduled to depart at 12:15 and arrive at 13:45. Upon arriving at Sivas airport at 13:45, I requested to change my flight to the next one as I would not be able to catch the 14:00 Istanbul to Izmir flight. They insisted that I could make it and refused to change my flight. Despite the boarding gates closing 20 minutes before departure, they mockingly claimed that I could catch the flight with only 15 minutes left for the transfer. They did not even provide any comforting information, such as a guarantee that I would be placed on the next flight if I missed the connection. Expecting the service guarantee for the ticket I purchased with a connection is my most natural right. I am particularly complaining about Ms. S***** S**** and other THY staff at Sivas airport. Due to their rude behavior, I was left in uncertainty and discomfort. As an internal medicine specialist, I understand the challenges of professions that deal with people. However, the THY staff at Sivas airport were rude, condescending, and so indifferent, ignorant, and inadequate that they would say 'there's nothing we can do, you'll make it' for a 15-minute transfer time.
