Turkish Airlines Pet Transportation Issue
After purchasing our tickets weeks in advance to travel with our cat in the cabin and our dog in the baggage hold, we checked in, handed over our luggage, and delivered our dog. Just as we were about to board the plane, we were denied boarding due to a change in the aircraft type. Despite being directed to the support desk, we were told that all flights today and tomorrow are fully booked, and the aircraft type is uncertain. We have no place to stay today, we have a lot of belongings, and we have been left stranded. We haven't seen our dog for hours. No solution has been provided yet. We arranged a taxi and accommodation at our destination. Due to THY's mistake, our pets' health is at risk as they have been hungry and thirsty for hours, and we are both financially and emotionally exhausted. This situation needs to be resolved, and we need to fly today.
