Turkish Airlines Paris-Ankara Flight Delay and Compensation Rights
My July 30th journey from Paris to Ankara with Turkish Airlines was a complete nightmare. Turkish Airlines delayed the flight at the airport for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Consequently, I missed my connecting flight at 1 AM on July 31st. I was not accommodated on the 2 AM flight to Ankara and was instead forced to change my ticket to 7 AM at the Turkish Airlines Istanbul Airport transfer center. Additionally, they disregarded my compensation rights, citing European regulations as an excuse. According to the Ministry of Transport's passenger rights declaration, passengers are entitled to compensation for delays exceeding 5 hours. Despite repeatedly informing them of this, they ignored my rights. I expected a large company like Turkish Airlines to be respectful and fair to its passengers. I am very disappointed that this company, on the international stage, disregards passengers' rights and dignity. I urge everyone to pay attention to these issues and request that the necessary authorities address my grievances.
Best regards.
