Turkish Airlines Long-Haul Flight Seat Spacing Issues
I flew to Miami with Turkish Airlines in economy class from May 16, 2024, to May 22, 2024. During these approximately 12-hour transatlantic flights, we faced significant difficulties due to the very narrow and cramped seat spacing. We couldn't bend down to untie our shoes. There wasn't even enough room to put on the provided socks. When the passengers in front of us reclined their seats, the seats were almost in our faces. While Turkish Airlines excels in services like meals compared to other airlines, the close seat spacing failed to meet our expectations. If they had removed a few rows of seats and increased the spacing by just 10 cm, they would have earned much more praise and reputation from us and all passengers. Turkish Airlines, which strives to differentiate itself with its service, urgently needs to address this issue.
