Turkish Airlines Frequent Flight Delays
Hello, I am Oguzhan A******. On 15.10.2023, I booked a ticket with THY for a 10:00 AM flight from Istanbul to Ankara. Despite there being no weather issues or other problems, the flight took off at 10:20 AM. This minor delay could be overlooked. However, my return flight on the same date, scheduled for 10:40 PM, was first delayed to 11:15 PM and then to 12:30 AM. Again, there were no weather-related issues. I need to wake up early the next day for work, and I won't get home before 2:00 AM. If a passenger is late by 2 minutes, there is no compensation. So, is there any compensation for frequently delayed flights without a reasonable explanation? It's a loss of time and money! Sometimes, I think it's due to the captains' whims. I hope THY takes this into consideration.
