Turkish Airlines Flight Schedule Change and Unresponsive Staff
The flight time was moved 10 minutes earlier due to operational reasons, and we were charged a fee which we paid. After this change, my flight was entered as a transfer instead of a round trip (it showed a 522-hour layover for the return). I noticed this within the last 48 hours and called to correct it. At that time, I was told that the fee difference I mentioned initially was due to a short-term operational change and didn't need to be paid. Why isn't this clearly stated? Why did I pay unnecessarily? My chosen seat was also changed for operational reasons. Why do I choose a seat then? During the flight, after meal distribution, not a single flight attendant attended to anyone; empty trays remained in front of people for 45 minutes until most passengers started taking them to the back of the plane themselves. There were 2 toilets for 16 business class passengers, while the remaining 200 passengers had only 2 toilets, resulting in 15-20 minute queues since the other toilet was inaccessible. Overall, it was one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had. I never expected this from THY.
