Turkish Airlines Flight Gate Change and Inconvenience

My wife and two daughters had a flight with Turkish Airlines on February 5, 2024, flight number TK 2684 at 16:40 from Istanbul Airport to Batman. I dropped them off at Istanbul Airport two hours before the flight. Check-in procedures were completed, luggage was handed over, and boarding passes were given to my wife and children. They were instructed to go to gate G6A as indicated on the boarding pass. My wife and children waited at the designated gate, ready to board the plane. While waiting at the gate at 16:40, the gate suddenly changed shortly before takeoff, and they were directed to another gate. Despite the limited time, my wife hurriedly ran to the new gate with our four-year-old daughter in her arms. Although the new gate was not very far, it took at least 15-20 minutes to reach, and my wife arrived at the gate around 16:25, seeing that the plane had not yet taken off. However, the staff at the gate did not allow my wife and children to board the plane. That day, not only my wife and children but also a few other passengers, including a woman with a baby, were similarly inconvenienced and were deliberately not allowed to board the plane by the staff. Dear Turkish Airlines official, I ask you: Why were a few passengers not allowed to board their flight despite being at the airport and the gate changing at the last moment, even though the plane had not yet taken off? My wife, left helpless, had to retrieve the checked luggage. Upon receiving the luggage, she found that the bag she had handed over in good condition was broken and damaged. She had to deal with the damaged luggage that day and was given a new suitcase. My wife then took a taxi to the bus station and endured a challenging 24-hour journey from Istanbul to Batman. Our eldest daughter was two days late to school because if they had been allowed to board the plane on time, this inconvenience would not have occurred. Our younger daughter fell ill during the journey. We faced many other inconveniences that we could not even write about. Dear official, we urgently request that these inconveniences be resolved as soon as possible and that all damages be compensated immediately.

So far, I have neither received a response from any THY official nor has anyone called us. I am still waiting for an answer or an explanation from the officials.
