THY Flight Ticket Issue: My Paid Ticket Was Sold to Someone Else

On June 11, 2024, I purchased a flight ticket from THY for the 06:05 flight to Trabzon. I checked in and handed over my luggage at 04:10. After waiting in the lounge for a while, I took my two children to the restroom. At 05:36, I passed through the control point again and proceeded to gate G1G. Upon arrival, I was informed that the gate was closed. I mentioned that I still had time and should be allowed to board the plane. They directed me to gate G4. When I reached G4, I was told there was a mistake and I needed to go to the ticket counter. I called my spouse, who came, and when we went to the ticket counter, they said they couldn't assist because my seat went empty. When I went to retrieve my luggage, it was brought to me. The staff member who brought my luggage mentioned that the flight was fully booked and suggested I file a complaint. I took my luggage and returned home. None of my grievances were addressed. With two children, I suffered both financially and emotionally.

The company doesn't even bother to respond.
