Turkish Airlines Flight Delay Causes Missed Connection

I had purchased a ticket for Anadolu Jet flight TK7177 on 28.07.2023. The route was Dalaman-Esenboga, Esenboga-Elazig with a layover. However, the flight departing from Dalaman was delayed by 40 minutes. I was informed that I would miss my connection to Elazig. When I spoke with Turkish Airlines ticket sales in Dalaman, they couldn't assure me that the connecting flight would wait, and I was told that my flight would be rescheduled for a different day, requiring me to stay in Ankara overnight. This delay was their fault, and it is unacceptable that they didn't hold my connecting flight. A 40-minute delay is unacceptable. Besides my flight, there were issues for passengers heading to Ordu, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Bingol, and Samsun on that plane. They caused us immense stress. When I rushed through the airport to reach the other gate, the final announcement was being made. Additionally, on 23.07.2023, our Elazig-Dalaman flight with Turkish Airlines was also delayed by half an hour. There were no seats available, and we had to stand. I shouldn't have had to experience this. My vacation was completely ruined.
