Turkish Airlines Flight Delay and Poor In-Flight Service
On 09.09.2023, the Turkish Airlines flight scheduled to depart from Istanbul Airport to Erzincan at 13:10 was delayed for 2 hours. Passengers were boarded at 12:45 and kept waiting inside the plane until 15:14. Despite being a frequent flyer with Turkish Airlines for years, this was my first experience with such a poor flight. There were elderly people and children on the plane, and no service was provided. Even when a passenger mentioned they had low blood sugar, no service was given. Every 10 minutes, the pilot announced that we would take off in 10 minutes, but we ended up waiting on the runway for 2 hours. I hope Turkish Airlines addresses the concerns of all passengers on this flight. Passengers were left thirsty and hungry on the runway for 2 hours. I could never have expected this from a reputable company like Turkish Airlines.
