Turkish Airlines Delayed the Refund for Over a Year
We have not received any resolution regarding our complaint with Turkish Airlines, reference number TK-10045074. They asked us to send the first 6 and last 4 digits of our credit card multiple times, which we did. They told us to wait, and we waited. How can such an institution take so long to resolve a complaint? It's almost been a year. If we had written to the bank, the documents would have been reviewed and the refund processed by now. Last year, the dollar was around 20 and gold was 1254 per gram. The refund amount has significantly decreased in value; we paid off the credit card debt, and still no refund, only emails stating that the review is ongoing. What are you reviewing for so long? It feels like you're examining corporate documents. How can a corporate institution like Turkish Airlines take so long to respond to a complaint? Why can't they refund the small amount we overpaid? What are we waiting for after a year? If the response to this complaint is another email saying the review is ongoing and asking for the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit card again, or if we need to send the receipt and documents again, don't bother responding. Going to court would have been quicker. We provided all the information. Can't you conduct a bank correspondence and review? The email we received states: 'If you provided feedback regarding bank transfer/credit card refund processes, we aim to respond within 14 days due to process timelines.' You haven't met your target; forget 14 days, 14 weeks have passed, and 14 months will pass. What kind of target is this? There's no response at all.
