Turkish Airlines Delayed My Flight and I Missed Connecting Flight
I flew with THY on a flight from Ankara to Brussels with a transfer in Istanbul. The flight from Ankara was delayed in the morning, and the plane attempted to land in Istanbul three times. The 8:20 flight took off at 8:50 and landed in Istanbul at 10:14. We were further delayed at the transfer point and missed the 10:40 flight. According to the app, the Brussels flight departed at 10:58. THY caused inconvenience to 10 passengers on the same connecting flight. Care Point did not assist, and we were rebooked for the 20:15 flight in the evening. As a public employee, I was traveling to attend an event and meetings, which I missed due to this delay. I was inconvenienced and missed important engagements. Considering the ticket change times, a wait of more than 8 hours, airport transfer, and disruption of my work, I demand compensation for this ticket.
