Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage on a Domestic Flight
I landed at Bodrum Milas from Istanbul Airport and found my luggage damaged. I immediately went to the damaged baggage counter and was given a tracking number, with the assurance that someone would contact me. However, upon reaching my hotel and opening my suitcase, I discovered that many of my clothes, some still with tags, were stained. My makeup remover (250ml, so I placed it in the luggage) had exploded, damaging my clothes. I sent photos of everything. The response was unsatisfactory; I was told I needed to get a paper from a repairer stating the luggage was unusable. Excuse me, but are you aware that I am in a vacation area? How am I supposed to find a repairer and return with damaged luggage? THY only has a name; for years, I've traveled abroad with the same luggage, and this issue only happened with THY.
