Turkish Airlines Damaged My Baggage But Didn’t Compensate It
During my flight with Turkish Airlines, my baggage was damaged. I filed a report at the airport, and the lady there instructed me to create a record at www4.thy.com/baggage/stark.tk. Accordingly, I created a record with the number 2023284602 on this website. Since I do not have the receipt for my baggage (as I bought it from a place in Antalya in 2020), I provided a screenshot showing the current value of my baggage. Additionally, when I took my baggage to a tailor for repair, they stated that it could not be repaired. Now, because I do not have the receipt, customer service is asking for a repair invoice. When I explained that the baggage could not be repaired, they told me I needed to get a letter from an authorized repair shop stating that it could not be repaired. In this situation, I am still suffering as my baggage has not been compensated, and they are suggesting the absurdity of going to an authorized repair shop to get a letter. Customer service representative Mr. O*** insisted that I must do this, which did not help my situation at all.
