Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage During the Flight

13.11.2024 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1528 my luggage was damaged and broken. Upon noticing the damage, I was informed by the relevant department that I needed to file a compensation request, which I did promptly. However, my compensation request was denied because I could not provide a receipt for the luggage. I believe the absence of a receipt should not prevent the evaluation of the damage or the resolution of my grievance. Additionally, the information provided during my initial inquiry led me to expect a favorable outcome for my request. As a loyal customer, I had hoped that a prestigious and customer-oriented airline like Turkish Airlines would approach such matters with a more constructive attitude. I kindly request that my case be re-evaluated and that a suitable solution be offered, such as compensation based on the current market value of the luggage or an equivalent replacement. I look forward to your response and to a resolution of this matter. Thank you for your attention.
