Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight Without Notification and Didn't Refund
On March 11, 2023, I discovered that my tickets with confirmation numbers VT675Q and V8X8FN were canceled when I arrived at the airport. I did not receive any email or SMS notification. Additionally, I was told that the ticket cancellation was done by either myself or the cardholder, which is not true. Following this, I submitted my complaints and refund requests to THY with feedback numbers TK-8268028, TK-8339959, TK-8365885, TK-8454742, TK-8365885, and TK-9183070. In an April 2023 feedback meeting, I was informed that the refund had been processed and that I should contact my bank. I obtained written documentation from my bank stating that the refund had not been received and sent it back. Despite 6 months and 11 days passing, the refund has not been issued to me, and I am still being told that it is under review. THY has caused me both financial and emotional distress. It is clear that there are issues with the review and comprehension of incoming documents by the refund department of such a large company.
