Turkish Airlines Baggage Fee Refund Delay for 63 Days
I flew with THY on 10/06/2023 from Istanbul Airport to Heathrow (London). During this flight, my suitcase was damaged. I filed a report at Heathrow Airport, attaching photos of the damaged area and a copy of the baggage tag to the report. I had to throw away the suitcase. I struggled to carry my belongings to my destination in London. I submitted a feedback form and am waiting for a refund.
It has been 63 days, and not only have I not received a refund, but today they emailed me asking for photos of the damaged area. Are you kidding me? I trusted you and bought a ticket, even though other airlines offered tickets at half the price. You broke my suitcase, and despite having all necessary photos and tags in the report, you keep asking for the same things. In 63 days, the suitcase price has increased from ₺2,500 to ₺6,000. Have some mercy!
Moreover, you are not processing my refund and are stalling. I am not obligated to provide you with documents; the report is already there. Go get it from there. I have never seen such poor quality!
